Eventbrite's media carousel sits at the top of every event page, and it is doing more work than most organisers give it credit for. The recommended image is 2160x1080 at a 2:1 aspect ratio, saved as JPEG or PNG, up to 10MB, and you can add up to ten of them. The catch is cropping: if your image is not already 2:1, Eventbrite uses the focus point you drag to crop it for the listing, and that same focus point generates the square thumbnail that appears in search results. So a 3:2 photo straight off a camera gets cropped twice, in two directions, from one point. Resizing to 2160x1080 first means the crop is a no-op and the listing shows the composition you designed. After that, a several-megabyte export still loads slowly on a phone, which is where most ticket buyers actually are. Skwish compresses and resizes images locally in your browser with a live before/after readout, so you hit the pixel box and trim the bytes in one pass. Batch the set, export a ZIP. Nothing leaves your device.
